OHS Hair Clipper – FAQ & Troubleshooting

1. Power indicator is on, but the clipper doesn’t work

• Cause: Cutting head may be stuck or not lubricated.

• Solution:

  • Add lubricating oil to the cutting head.

  • Gently move the cutting head left and right with your finger to restore operation.

2. Blade is uneven or tilts left/right

• Cause: Plastic one-piece clipper models may have slightly uneven cutting edges.

• Notes:

  • This is normal and does not affect performance.

  • Blade swings left and right to cut hair efficiently.

• Tips:

  • Manually adjust the spring angle at the cutting edge for a cleaner cut.

  • For more precise cutting, consider upgrading to our metal body models.

3. Clipper won’t turn on, power light is off

• Cause: Battery may be empty or too low.

• Solution:

  • Charge the clipper for 3 hours and try again.

  • If it still doesn’t work, send pre- and post-charging videos so we can verify the issue.

4. Hair gets caught or skin gets cut

• Cause:

  • T9 clipper is designed for hairstyle patterns and beard trimming, not long hair.

  • Blade may be unlubricated, causing friction.

• Solutions & Tips:

  • Avoid touching the shaft in the center of the blade when trimming long hair.

  • Use OHS S3 or OHS SL2 Dragon Plus for long hair—they include anti-pinch blade covers.

  • Apply lubricating oil regularly to prevent skin cuts.
